For their products (see all electrical products subject to G-marking in List 2¹ of GSO), manufacturers shall choose a single Notified Body (NB) entity, such as Eurofins, to examine the technical design of a product and verify that the technical design of the product meets the requirements of the applicable Gulf Technical Regulations and for the issuance of an Gulf Type Examination certificate. The Notified Body (NB) shall ensure the manufacturing has a production-quality system implemented to confirm that the product is being manufactured following the technical specifications.

Conformity Tracking Symbol (GCTS)

GCTS is a symbol granted by GSO, representing the Gulf Conformity Marking symbol and a QR code for traceability and tracking which is generated by the GSO certificate tracking system.
